ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Michael (But most people call me Mikey) Votaw!

I am a singer, actor, and dancer originally from Potomac, MD. I am currently getting my BFA in Music Theatre at Illinois Wesleyan University and I am loving every second of it.

I always loved to sing as a kid, but it wasn't until I saw my big sister performing on stage that I knew I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. She is my biggest inspiration and I wouldn't be where I am without her.

I love to make people laugh and joke around. I find the world is a much better place when we are laughing and smiling, so I love having the opportunity to make people's lives better by performing and making people smile.

I also am a huge sports fan and thoroughly enjoy watching and following all the major sports and discussing them with my friends.

Lastly, I absolutely adore animals! I am the proud father of two amazing little kittens.
